Midlife Revival Jazzband     

Jan Maas  - Trombone 

 
When he was a young boy, Jan liked to listen to jazz records. 
During a  jazz workshop with Rob Snip he discovered New Orleans Jazz. 
His “bandlife” started with Dick Sesink and the Burgundy Street Jazzmen.
As a student Jan played in several bands in the Netherlands , in Belgium and Germany .
During that time he won, together with other young musicians, the legendary Phillip Morris Dixieland Award. He performed in jazzclubs in the Netherlands and abroad.
With the New Orleans Nightbirds ( Germany ) he toured South Africa .
Since 2003 Jan has been a member of the Midlife Revival Jazzband.
